The Academy of Music Berlin (Landesmusikakademie Berlin)
organizes more than 150 courses, workshops and seminars every year. Together with our associated partners we provide continuous education for everyone who ist acitve in music, professional and amateur musicians as well as pedagogues. Our more than 60 anual concerts are accompanied by professional moderators who motivate school children to actively participate in the performances while guiding them towards a deeper appreciation of sound and composition. The vast variety of styles of music we present enables the children to develop an intrinsic unterstanding of the wide ranging possibilities of music.
Special projects like an amateur music-festival, a Samba-Festival, a rock-band competition, and an ensemble-meeting help to significantly build up and strengthen the network between all involved partners.
In addition Landesmusikakademie Berlin provides their rooms and infrastructure to those choirs, groups and ensembles who want to improve their abilities through intensive working stays or rehearsal periods.
Landesmusikakademie Berlin is located at »» FEZ-Berlin, the largest european recreation center for the youth and families in Berlin-Köpenick which is supported by the Berlin goverment.
